No relief in sight to skyrocketing gasoline prices in Texas

HOUSTON (AP) - No relief's in sight from the skyrocketing retail
gasoline prices Texans are paying.
The weekly Triple-A Texas gas price survey released today finds
regular self-serve is averaging $3.84 per gallon. That's up 11
cents from last week. Nationally, the average price rose 12 cents
to $3.952.
Auto club spokeswoman Rose Rougeau (roo-ZHOH') says another
survey finds those prices have prompted more than half of the
Triple-A Texas membership to cut back significantly on the miles
they normally drive. The survey also finds more than two-thirds of
the membership are combining errands to reduce driving.
The most expensive gasoline in Texas is found in Amarillo, where
regular self-serve rose 11 cents to $3.87 per gallon. The cheapest
gas is in Corpus Christi, where the average price rose 6 cents to
$3.79 per gallon.

High Gas is it the reasons we have had almost no local news for a week now?
