HOUSTON (AP) - Dallas energy baron T. Boone Pickens says he has
scrapped plans to create the world's largest wind farm in the Texas
Panhandle. He says he's looking for a home for 687 giant wind
turbines that he already ordered. In his words: "My garage won't
hold them."
In 2008 when the price of fuel had skyrocketed, Pickens was touting his cure from foreign energy reliance through wind generated electricity. After the Wall Street collapsed along with fuel prices, Pickens announced there were no investors in his program and not much interest from the public.

The reason T-Bone can't get investors is because wind energy is an uneconomical investment. Development of renewable sources of energy is wise, however our energy solution for the next few decades lies in natural gas, coal, and nuclear power. While we reduce energy from those sources to "save the planet", China and India say "no thanks" to carbon taxes. That will make it even harder for the U.S. to compete, sending even more industry off shore. We have to stand up now to save this country from global governance/destruction.

Wind energy is a pipe dream. Sounds good in theory but it is impracticle, and like solar panels, outrageously expensive. You want to know what isnt?? Coal, nuclear... they actually work. If you don't like high electric bills, tell your senator vote NO CAP & TRADE.
