I sent in a comment and it wasn't posted. Maybe it was because I was a Longhorn and not an aggie??? You should post ALL comments, not just the ones that pro a&m??? Just a thought....

Austin a college town? I'm not sure that's even an accurate statement. It's a city with a University located in it. College Station epitomizes college town and has a lot going for it. I'm surprised Texas is even in the top 10.

If CS is your kind of town, then it's really tough to beat. If Austin is your kind of town, then move to Palo Alto, because it's much nicer.

This list makes no sense. The criteria for it has nothing to do with college students or college sports. Anyone who thinks that B/CS is a better sports town or even a better town than Austin is smoking something. B/CS might be a great place to raise a family, but there is no way it is in the top 25 college towns in the USA. What a joke!

Another story trying to paint A&M as being better than the University of Austin, why. But the truth is UT doesn't care and neither does Austin because unlike CS and Bryan, Austin has more going on there than either one of our two cities will ever have. And I notice how so many of you have to insult UT by refering to it as TU, but whine and complain when it happens to A&M, so maybe we should start referring to as A&M as The University of A**&M you know your rear end part.

poor poor cliff, you're showing your ignorance. you should never let your bias be so evident. UT overrated? true UT's basketball team has fallen this year from a number 1 ranking to out of the top 25. however, they did lose three of their top 6 players. besides, this isn't a recurring problem for UT, thats why its so news worthy, and silly folks, like you, want to make it what its not. thats ok, keep thinking your 5 win football team is worthy, and i'll think of you next year when you're whining about playing in the houston toilet bowl or the shreveport sewer bowl. all the while, those horns from "the lesser ranked sports city", are in another BCS bowl. ciao!

Oh...Bull s**t! Football is NOT the only sport being played at A&M. Good thing Forbes is not as narrow minded as you! Kudos to Texas A&M and B-CS!

KBTX didn't make up the list; they just reported the results. I suppose they should just ignore any story that casts BCS in a good light.
