It is the perfect marriage of Aggie spirit and technology.
A partnership between Apple and MacResource Computers has created the new Fightin' Texas Aggie iPod. Aggies can choose between a four gig iPod nano or a 30 gig iPod video that is engraved with the Texas A&M logo.
Lovers of maroon and white will be able to access music from the Fightin' Texas A&M band, lectures from guest speakers including those from the George Bush Presidential Library, and Aggie video created and posted by Aggie students available exclusively at the A&M section at the iTunes store.
In addition, university marketing and communication officials are working with faculty members to make class content available too. So, these new iPods are protected, Aggies can choose among three specially designed cases featuring A&M logos.
A&M officials are excited about students, parents, and alumni being able to enjoy all things Aggie, at their finger tips.
Diane McDonald, Associate Director of Marketing and Communications says, "it lets us showcase the great research, the great speakers, the great faculty that we have here at Texas A&M University."
Texas A&M is the only Texas university with the custom-engraved i-pod. The iPods are currently available only through the link provided below.
