Texas World Speedway Names Joey Todd Director of Sales and Marketing

Texas World Speedway announces the appointment of Joey Todd as Director of Sales and Marketing. Joey joined the TWS team November 22, 2011 after the announcement of Lisa Gorzycki Hough’s upcoming move to Fort Lauderdale, Florida with her husband, Josh Hough.

Joey brings over 20 years of business experience to the Speedway, including senior management roles in operations and sales in the telecom industry. He is a Principal in racing safety retailer VRO.COM (formerly Vick Racing Inc.), and a Regional Director for ChumpCar World Series, North America’s fastest growing road racing series. He is an SCCA member, holding a competition license, and a TWS Performance Driving School Instructor.

In his new position, Joey is charged with establishing and maintaining relationships, programs and partnerships that will cement Texas World Speedway as the region’s premier road racing venue. Additionally, Joey will be responsible for all marketing, advertising and public relations, and he will oversee the TWS Motorsports Country Club, TWS Ride & Drive Experience, and Teen Survival Driving Academy.
