POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the increase in retail sales of Messina Hof wines at the winery, the care of the physical center, and the hospitality of the guests.  This person is the host for our guests.  The purpose of the Messina Hof guest center is to welcome visitors of Messina Hof as family guests in to the Messina Hof “living room” and to embrace them as personal friends of our Messina Hof family.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
• E-Commerce Sales
o Sale of Messina Hof products on online store
o Targeting and soliciting websites to promote E-Commerce sales
o Submit promotion and marketing suggestions for online store
o Network with Marketing department to maximize wine sales online
o Processing and fulfillment of E-Commerce orders
o Coordinating with shipping companies for any claims of loss/damages
o Updating products/information/pictures on the online store
o General maintenance of the online store
• Wine Club
o Process and fulfillment of monthly and quarterly Wine Club shipments
o Track membership in Wine Clubs and target potential club customers for sales calls and e-     
        mails
o Develop and execute marketing programs to grow the Wine Club
• Inventory Control
o Maintain 0 shrinkage
o Account for all movement
• Care of the Retail Area
o Making sure each guest is maximally comfortable
o Maintaining the merchandising of the Messina Hof products
o Making sure the guest center is clean and neat, displays polished, and merchandise dusted
        daily
o Making sure restrooms and food preparation areas are sanitized and stocked each morning
o Maintaining full stock of deli food items, wines and food items, gift items
o Maintenance of food areas in accordance with health department codes
o Maintenance of deck area as a clean inviting environment
• Sales
o Leading tours of facility
o Retail sales and tastings
o Education of Messina Hof guests on wine as food and wine/food combinations
o Promote tours, tastings, parties, and repeat sales at the winery
o Gift preparation
o Opening and closing procedures
o Increase market share of retail room
• Other duties as required

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Competency Statement(s)
• Experience in a retail closely related field
• Experience in customer service
• Experience with E-Commerce or website maintenance
• Ability to use a personal computer and have working knowledge of computer programs
        including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word and Excel
