Spherion is looking for a Controller local client company. Responsibilities: •Manage all financial accounting and controls. •Oversee tax and general ledger consolidation. •Be responsible for internal controls. •Monitor and advise on all regulatory changes and initiatives •Lead the continuous development and growth of the capabilities and performance of the accounting functions and staff. •Develop and drive effective measurement tools to improve financial performance and create value. Required Attributes: •10-15 years of progressive finance experience. •Sound financial and reporting skills and a strong cost focus. •Positive track record of managing a diverse team and developing relationships cross-functionally. •Technically strong and well versed in U.S. GAAP. •Strong project accounting experience. •Hands-on management style with demonstrated attention to detail. •Big Four public accounting experience a plus. •CPA required. •Bachelors Degree required. •Advanced degree preferred.
