KBTX Media has an opening for a full-time reporter. We’re looking for someone who can “rock the world” with their reporting. Looking for someone who can come up with exciting, relevant, enterprise stories. You must know how to combine writing, editing, graphics and live shots into stories people will remember. In addition to great field work the following are the most important of all. We need someone with a good work ethic, strong people skills and the ability to be a team player and maintain a professional attitude at all times. Looking for that hungry person who wants to have the lead story every night. Your on air work is important, but we also need someone who’s passionate about posting news content to the Internet. Two years of news experience necessary, some anchoring experience is ideal. A college degree is preferred. Some travel may be required.
