Saving You Money: Online Flower Prices

With Valentine's Day around the corner, I wanted to find out what you can get for your money online. I did some comparison shopping. I focused on roses, since they're the most popular Valentine's Day gift.

You can still order flowers from Proflowers.com for Valentine's Day.
One Dozen Long Stem Roses in a FREE Ruby vase costs $59.98. Standard shipping is $4.99
One Dozen Short Stem Roses in a FREE Ruby vase costs $49.99
One Dozen Assorted Color Roses costs $29.99

You can also still order flowers from 1800flowers.com.
One Dozen Long Stem Roses (just the bouquet) costs $34.99 with a red vase it's $49.98, plus $14.99 for shipping if you want your flowers by Friday, February 13.

www.teleflora.com also has Valentine's Day flower arrangements
12 standard red roses costs $69.95 plus a $13.99 service fee.
12 premium red roses costs $86.95 plus a $13.99 service fee.

At www.FTD.com you'll find 12 premium red roses with a vase for $49.99, plus a $14.99 service charge and $5.19 in taxes.
However, you get a $10 discount, making your total bill, $70.17.

If you are a Sam's Club member, I found a one dozen red rose bouquet online at www.samsclub.com, with a free vase and fillers for $60.13, shipping is included.
All personal bouquets must be ordered by 4:30 p.m. February 11th to receive by February 13th.
