The City of College Station and the Mayors Council on Physical Fitness (MCPF) is kicking off a new six-month long program of physical fitness awareness and participation. This program will allow College Station to integrate and develop activities to promote an understanding of the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.
In order to kick-start the fitness program, we need your help in developing a slogan for the MCPF! The slogan should encourage residents to "get fit, get healthy, and get moving."
Rules for entry:
Must be a resident of College Station to enter.
Entries can be submitted March 23 - April 5.
Only entries with SLOGAN CONTEST in the subject line of the email will be accepted.
To place an entry, email Peter Lamont at plamont@cstx.gov.
Please include your name, address, phone number and email in the body of the email. The winning slogan will be revealed at the Walking Health Fair on May 9.

In March of 2008 the City applied to the Governor's Advisory Council on Physical Fitness for a grant to develop a Mayor's Council on Physical Fitness (MCPF) and was endorsed in June 2008.
The MCPF will allow College Station to interact to an even greater degree with our health and fitness community. The MCPF plans to host a community contest to develop a slogan, host a walking health fair on May 9, running/walking rallies, and will also ally itself with the Get Fit Texas Program.
