If you're in the market for a new refrigerator or washing machine, the government is offering you a big incentive.

Staring on Wednesday, April 7 at 7 a.m. you can reserve a rebate online (click on the website link below) or by calling 1-877-780-3039 to save money on energy-saving appliances.

The government is anticipating high demand for the program and it's highly recommending that you reserve a rebate.

However, there will be a limited number of rebate reservations. Texas can request to be on a waiting list once reservations have closed. There is a chance more funds could become available.

The purchase period begins April 16, 2010 and the rebate program ends when all funds are exhausted. All rebate applications must be postmarked within 60 days of the reservation or wait list request date.
