Who They Are: An advocacy center that provides services to abused children and their families.

Why We Chose Them: Each year in the Brazos Valley, hundreds of children experience the lasting trauma of abuse and exposure to violence. Scotty’s House provides these children with a single, safe, neutral environment in which to tell the story of their abuse, receive medical examinations and treatment; counseling and case coordination with law enforcement, Child Protective Services, and the prosecutor’s office. Scotty’s House is where the healing begins.
