Who They Are: A sponsored student organization at Texas A&M that provides students the opportunity to give back to the Bryan/College Station community by volunteering in a one-day event.
Why We Chose Them: It’s the largest one-day, student-run service project in the nation. The Big Event began right here in Aggieland and has now expanded to 75 other schools.
How You Can Help: Community members can make a donation. Texas A&M students can sign up to volunteer beginning February 4th and ending February 26th. Click here to become a participant.

Mission Statement: Through service-oriented activities, The Big Event promotes campus and community unity as students come together for one day to express their gratitude for the support from the surrounding community.
Important Information:
Students can sign up to volunteer here. Sign ups begin February 4 and continue through February 26.
Community members can submit a job request here.The deadline is February 15. All jobs are first come, first serve.
The Big Event will take place March 23, 2013.
