Name: Kendall Naquin
School: Texas A&M University
Major: Supply Chain Management
Relationship Status: Single
What activities are you involved in? Kappa Alpha Theta, Fish Camp Counselor, COSGA (Conference on Student Government Association) Hospitality Committee, Student Worker at Texas Transportation Institute, and CSCMP (Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals)
What's your guilty pleasure? Reese’s. Hands down. My Christmas stocking is FULL of them every year!
How do you prepare for a night out on the town? There’s not much preparation that’s involved when my friends and I go out… we like to make spur-of-the-moment decisions and see where the night takes us!
What's in your fridge right now? You’re most likely to find salad and sandwich fixin’s, tons of Lean Cuisines and pizza-flavored hot pockets, and leftover Chipotle! I tend to eat pretty healthy, but from time to time, I can’t help but indulge in my favorite candy Reeses! I also love to cook with my roomies when I’m not posting up at the library.
If you were a car, what kind would you be and why? If I were a car, I would most likely be the car that I drive now, which is a black Toyota RAV4. The SUV fits my personality like a glove… it’s simple, sporty, and spunky! It is the perfect size for my friends to pile up in and has tons of room for all that junk in the trunk… no pun intended. :)
When you see your crush on campus how do you react? I definitely will strike up a conversation, but I usually like them to make the first move, so I rely on my charming smile and my 5’11” gangly bod to help them spot me out of a crowd!
Craziest college experience so far? Spring Break 2012 with my best friend was full of risky, reckless decisions, but I wouldn’t have done it any other way! The theme of the trip was “Seven States in Seven Days.” From Austin, to Gulf Shores, to Destin, to Memphis, we packed up her dad’s Ford Edge and hit the road! It was the most spontaneous, impulsive and unorganized week of my life. And if you know me at all, I am SUCH a planner. When you’re staying in a different city every night and living out of a car, things are bound to get interesting!
Describe your dream man. Two Words. Ryan Gosling.
If you had to listen to only one song for the rest of your life, what would it be and why? Message In A Bottle by The Police. My dad and I used to jam to this song all the time in the car on the way to school and to my club volleyball tournaments. Brings back good memories!
What are your plans after graduation? I have several aspirations that I want to pursue when I graduate, and I am so anxious to see where life takes me! With a diploma in my left hand and an Aggie Ring on my right, I will be able to network and meet many new people! Eventually, I plan to pursue a career in the Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Industry. I also plan to travel for mission work to serve those in need in the U.S. and in other countries.
