American rock band, A Rocket to The Moon recently released their music video for their current single “Ever Enough”. The track “Ever Enough” is the first single off of their upcoming album “Wild & Free” which is set to release one month from today on March 26th.
Although the melody of “Ever Enough” has been echoing in my mind since its release, I did not have a clear storyline in my head before viewing the music video. With so many options for how to depict the single, I was very pleased to see some depth added to the characters, and attention to detail throughout the video.
The “Ever Enough,” music video depicts an epic road trip that includes impromptu dancing, campfires, and a Vegas wedding. The video for the ballad stars lead singer Nick Santino and actress Debbie Ryan as a young couple who set out on the road in an attempt to escape their problems. During the opening, viewers learn that Debbie’s character is ill, showing flashbacks to a hospital, and various shots of a medical identification bracelet. Throughout the video we see that there are serious implications for Debbie's character that accompany the couple’s spontaneous lifestyle and Nick’s character is constantly accepting and accommodating.
“Ever Enough” finds the perfect balance between light-hearted moments and serious topics, conveying the theme of the song, that true love is unwavering under all circumstances.
