How'd they manage to keep it under wraps?
Chris Brown and Rihanna reportedly met up in secret last year to record their new collaboration 'Nobodies Business' while he was still dating Karrueche Tran.
The former couple have been spotted together increasingly in recent months, however, a source claims they became close friends again last year and recorded their collaboration months ago. Rihanna, 24, confirmed this week that Chris would be featuring on her new album Unapologetic by posting an image of the official tracklisting for the record on Twitter.
According to HollywoodLife.com, the pair laid the track down while he was still dating Karrueche, who he dumped a month ago claiming his "friendship" with Rihanna was "hurting" her.
"They collabed on that track many months ago and both of them wanted to keep that under wraps until the time was right," the insider told the website.
"The track is hot and Chris kept that shit on the under because they both wanted it that way."
"Rihanna wanted him on the album since like last year and she put that bug in his ear and he was like cool and jumped on it. He was down for it. He wasn’t gone tell her no."
The source claims that while they no their relationship is constantly under the spotlight, Rihanna and Chris were keen to keep the collabo under wraps until she was ready with her new album.
"I know they were in the studio listening to her album and the “Nobodies Business” track, fine tuning some s**t, but they didn’t drop nothing to nobody about it though. Sometimes they just want some s**t to be between them," the insider explained.
Unapologetic is scheduled for release on November 19 and will also feature collaborations with Eminem and David Guetta.
