In addition to being a survivor, Buck the Dog also has a lot of fans. So many that he is the top dog in votes for a cover of American Dog Magazine: 15, 279 votes to be exact.

Buck was found in the near freezing temperatures in East Montgomery County back in January. His face was riddled with birdshot pellets, he had been put in a trash bag and tied to a fence, left to die.

A resident found him and managed to get help. Buck was left blind but is learning to cope.
