The above picture can't help but remind one of simpler times, when "Two and a Half Men" merely coasted by on inexplicably consistent ratings without entering the pop-culture orbit of those who abstained. That, of course, was before Charlie Sheen harnessed the power of viral media -- and Angus T. Jones quickly discovered its pitfalls.

Faster than you can say, "Cue cannily timed audience applause," Jones' YouTube soliloquy on the virtues of Seventh-Day Adventists and detriment of enduring his hit series' "filth" was the talk of Hollywood. Rainn Wilson even spoofed it to score some extra "Office" audience.

The future of Jones at "Two and a Half Men" remains unclear, but fortunately for the morally conflicted 19-year-old actor, Charlie Sheen has an open-door policy over at his totally not-filthy FX sitcom, "Anger Management."

In an interview with ABC News, Sheen declared, "My former nephew is welcome at the Goodson 'Anger Management' home anytime," referring to the surname of his therapist alter-ego on the series. Sheen also seems to view Jones' rant as a "Hale-Bopp-like meltdown," in an odd parallel to the infamous Heaven's Gate cult.

Something tells us this will all be sorted out over at CBS before the intervention of a confessed nymphomaniac drug addict emerges as an ideal solution. If not, and if Jones is indeed still seeking work on a purer broadcast, Big Bird can use all the help he can get these days.
