PHILADELPHIA (AP) - The city of Philadelphia is gearing up to host Jay-Z's "Made In America" music festival.

Organizers estimate the 2-day concert will attract 100,000 fans to the city over Labor Day weekend. Other performers include Pearl Jam, Drake and Jill Scott.

Construction began this week on the somewhat unusual venue. It's the first show to require paid admission on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, a tree-lined boulevard in the heart of downtown.

Officials say the city has a long tradition of staging much larger free concerts at the same location and should have no problem handling the crowd.

For those who can't make the concerts on Sept. 1 or 2, don't worry - filmmaker Ron Howard is directing a movie about the show.
