Viral Video of the Week Installment 2

Hello and welcome back to the latest installment of the Viral Video of the Week! We’ve got some downright tasty videos this week to get to, so why don’t we just go ahead and get started? So I know that this may be a little “late,” with the Olympics being practically two weeks long-gone by now – it seems like just yesterday Kevin Durant was draining in 3’s from half-court - but for some reason I’m having a hard time letting go. Maybe it’s because the Americans (and especially the female athletes) straight-up dominated in London... Maybe it’s that I’m trying to cope with the whole “no more Olympics for four more years” thing… Heck, maybe it’s the fact that Ryan Lochte is just such a gigantic tool:

Ok, I understand that Lochte’s a stone-cold hunk of a man and, were it not for Michael “I Invented Swimming” Phelps, he’d be the best American male swimmer at the moment, but something about this dude just seems to rub people the wrong way. Maybe wearing a grill on the winner's podium wasn't the best choice. That is, unless he was just coming prepared for a post-swim carboload. But hey, at least the guy doesn’t lack any confidence… Wait, why am I talking about swimming again??

Ever go to the airport and get practically run over by those terminal-carts because they didn’t have their “warning beep” on? (If not, just humor me here. Please?) What’s that? You have? Well this guy seems to have found the solution to this dilemma:

Now that’s some dedication to your job. I like to think that this dude got hired just because he was such an excellent “beeper.” It would be pretty darn difficult to not hire this guy right on the spot if he included that in his resume. Ok, time to talk tech stuff. A video of the iPhone 5 recently leaked on YouTube, so I feel as though it is my duty to relay this exclusive video to my audience. Enjoy:

Ok, now I know what you’re all thinking. And no, that wasn’t an official video. But hey, I don’t see you posting a better, “more authentic” video on your YouTube blog. So there. Moving on. Now, if you twisted my arm and asked me what my three favorite things in this world were, I’d be hard pressed not to say “Paul Rudd,” “playing Xbox,” and “Judd Hirsch references,” so needless to say that this video practically made me mess my pants when I first saw it:

All jokes aside, it makes me happy that people like Ray Lewis can overcome such adversity like “being raised in a tough environment,” or “being accused of murdering a couple people, but ultimately getting acquitted for turning in some of his posse members.” He truly is the Houdini of our generation. Only, somehow, more mentally stable.

Oh! I almost forgot! I haven’t shared a cute-animal and/or crotch-shot video yet! Here you go:

There, that better for ya? Excellent. On that note, that just about does it for this week’s installment of Viral Video of the Week. For those of you starting class next week like myself, I wish you the best luck. For those of you fortunate to not have to worry about that, I envy you. This whole “learning” thing is really starting to get in the way of my personal life. If only my teachers did more of this, I might be more excited for school:
