ARLINGTON, Texas -- Both Texas A&M and Sam Houston State will close out their football season this weekend. Texas A&M will face Oklahoma in the AT&T Cotton Bowl on Friday. Sam Houston State will take on North Dakota State in the FCS National Championship game on Saturday.
The Aggies and Sooners are meeting for the first time in the post season. The two teams faced each other 16 times when they were both members of the Big 12 Conference. Texas A&M and Oklahoma are set for a 7:00 start Friday night at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington. The game will be televised on Fox.
Sam Houston State and North Dakota State are meeting for the second straight season in the FCS National Title game. The Bison beat the Bearkats last season 17-6. Sam Houston State and North Dakota State will kick-off at noon Saturday at FC Dallas Stadium in Frisco. The game will be televised on ESPN2.
