I have a love/hate relationship with Fall and Winter sometimes, yes it’s time for boots (my favorite!) but according to traditional fashion law, you can’t wear white anymore. Luckily my post Labor Day hate can come to an end. It’s official, out with the old and in with new, ignore that ole fashioned, fashion rule! Stay trendy this season (and hopefully forever!) with “Winter White.”
On the runway:
Personally, I love the white fur. It's the perfect combination to make your white look wintery.
Fall 2012 Ready to Wear
How you can rock the trend:
Try a white fur vest with dresses and tights, or blouses and jeans. You can style this to show off your personality.
One idea is to take your staple Fall pieces like the jean button up, and colored denim, then add your vest!
When you're feeling girl put on your spring white dress, with winter black tights. Just like the vest, this oxymoron can be done is a variety of ways, so fit the look to fit your style personality.
I like adding a leather jacket, or blazer for a more formal event. For a more casual look, this off-white dress is remixed by adding some winter accessories like a scarf and hat.
Another way is pull off winter white is with a jacket or blazer. This look is the simplest, because you can throw on a white jacket or blazer over any winter look, casual or dressy!
These are some ideas, you can add white in almost anyway to your wardrobe. If you're looking for something more subtle try purses, scarfs, and hats to incorporate this trend. If Winter White is too bold for you overall, try one of Fall’s other hot colors like burgundy, metallic, or black and blue!
