CS Shooting Victim Remembered at Funeral

Updated: Mon 9:41 AM, Aug 20, 2012

The innocent bystander killed in Monday's shooting in College Station was remembered Saturday.

Christopher Northcliffe's friends and family came together for a memorial service at our Saviour's Lutheran Church in College Station.

Some city and county officials and College Station firefighters were also there to pay their respects to the 51-year-old husband and father of two.

Family describe Northcliffe as deeply spiritual, a loving father, and an artist. Some of his photographs were featured during Saturday's service.

Northcliffe attended A&M Consolidated High School, then he graduated from Texas A&M. His wife and his two children still live here in College Station.

Northcliffe's family requested that cameras not be present in Saturday's service.

Monetary donations can be made to the Northcliffe family at any Bryan/College Station branch of Prosperity Bank. Another fund has been set up at the Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union.
