What are Colleges really doing for our country? If you're a part of Texas A&M, a lot. Washington Monthly named TAMU their second best College for America!
Washington Monthly releases a yearly ranking geared towards answering the college question based of three categories; social mobility, research, and service.
Once the research is complete, they come up with a chart allowing us to take a peak into the College contributions.
Here's how the rankings added up:

2. Texas A&M University
3. Stanford University
4. Univ. of North Carolina At Chapel Hill
5. University of California at Berkeley
6. UCLA
7. Case Western Reserve University
8. University of Washington in Seattle
9. University of California - Riverside
10. Georgia Tech
11. Harvard University
12. University of Texas At El Paso
13. University of Michigan - Ann Arbor
14. University of California-Santa Barbara
15. MIT
