Here's a guest Dr. Phil won't soon forget.
A Houston man, who last week taped an interview with the talk show host about his missing ex-girlfriend, confessed to murdering her just two days later.
Mark Augustin Castellano had spoken to Dr. Phil on Friday about how Michelle Warner had disappeared on Sept. 22 after she had walked out of the couple's apartment following an argument.
On Sunday, while being interviewed by police, Castellano not only revealed he had allegedly killed Warner by breaking her neck, but directed authorities to an oil field where her body was later found.
"Mr. Castellano sat down for an interview with Dr. Phil in Texas just before his confession to law enforcement, late last week," a spokesperson for the show said in a statement. "Dr. Phil also conducted an interview with Ms. Warner's family for this show, which is currently scheduled to air on Thursday."
Castellano, meanwhile, is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
