An egg-cellent recipe for Easter!

Easter Egg-sicles
Plastic Easter Eggs
Fruit Juice
Champagne
Plastic Lollipop Sticks
A large nail and hammer
Small cake funnel to fill the eggs

Most of the need items to make the popsicles can be found at a craft store, either Michael's or Hobby Lobby.

To start making these cute little things, turn the eggs upside down and create a hole with the nail that is large enough to fit your lollipop sticks and funnel. If your eggs don't already have a couple of extra holes, create two small holes in addition to the larger hole to allow air to escape.

Create your cocktail mixture using champagne and your favorite fruit juice -- I used cranberry in some and a pineapple/ginger ale mix in others. Pour into a cup and use your cake funnel tip to begin filling the eggs with the mixture until the egg is almost full. Final step, add in your popsicle stick and freeze overnight!

Once you are ready to enjoy them, let them sit for a second to easily open the egg.

It took me a little bit of effort to find out the best process to get the drink inside the eggs but it is worth it in the end. These Egg-sicles are perfect for Easter Sunday gatherings! They can easily be made for kids as well minus the champagne, of course.
