Fest for West & Sunday Happenings

There are some exciting things coming up in your own backyard!

If you want to help out the citizens of West, TX., recover from the tragedy that recently took place in their town, then come out to Fest for West!

On Sunday May 5, the Downtown Bryan Association and Big Red Drum Entertainment will be hosting an all-day music festival at the Palace Theatre. Headlining Fest for West is Texas artist Brandon Rhyder, but there will be a variety of artist performing including everything from folk to classic country to local favorites.

All proceeds from tickets, food, and alcohol sales will benefit the people of West, TX.

Here are some events taking place this Sunday:

At Rudder Theatre, support your local musicians and enjoy some beautiful, classical music! The Wind Symphony and Symphonic Winds play at 3pm, and Symphonic Band and Concert Band play at 6:30pm.

Mosey down to Bryan for Big Texas Nights at the Grand Stafford Theater. Big Texas Nights is a series of concerts that takes place every Sunday at 7pm. This week listen to Wesley Lunsford with Eric Fisher.

Finally, appreciate wine at Messina Hof's wine appreciation class. The class will teach you anything and everything you need to know to be an expert.
