LONDON (AP) - Google is in trouble again over data collected with its Street View business, again.

After being caught spying on people across Europe and Australia with its Wi-Fi-sweeping Street View cars, Google told angry regulators that it would delete the ill-gotten data. Turns out, it didn't keep its word.

Britain's Information Commissioner's Office received a letter from Google in which the company admits it kept a "small portion" of the electronic information collected from the U.K. and other countries.

The office published the letter, which includes an apology from Google.

Google said it recently discovered the data during a review. It claims to have contacted regulators in all of the countries where it had promised to delete data but did not.
