Start harvesting those roses, because it's Bachelor time! And the lucky man who will have ladies vying for the spotlight his love is Bachelorette finalist Sean Lowe, ABC confirms to E! News.
Lowe's deal was "pretty much done," according to a source close to production. "Sean is our choice. I think we finally got everyone to sign off," the insider told E! News.
The Dallas native made it to the final three on the last season of the Bachelorette, winning the hearts of fans all over America in the process. Single mom Emily Maynard gave him an emotional send-off one week before the final rose ceremony, eventually accepting Utah entrepreneur Jef Holm's proposal in the end.
Lowe's name was in the mix to be the next Bachelor for months, along with Olympian Ryan Lochte and last season's Bachelorette runner-up, Arie Luyendyk Jr.
The 17th season of The Bachelor is already in production and is set to premiere in January.
