TIME Magazine's cover story for this week features Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel.
Manziel is on the cover because of a story on the debate regarding paying college athletes. He was recently at the center of an NCAA investigation about whether or not he signed autographs for money.
The NCAA eventually determined there was no evidence, but he was still suspended for the first half of last weekend's opening game against Rice.
The magazine will hit newsstands on Friday and is available online right now to TIME Magazine subscribers.
The picture was taken by Andrew Hancock, who has a journalism degree from A&M. To get the angle, Manziel stood on glass raised about six feet off the playing surface of Kyle Field.
Hancock also took the Manziel photo that made the cover of the August 5 edition of Sports Illustrated.
