LOS ANGELES, California The awards continue to roll in for "Johnny Football". The Heisman trophy winner has been no stranger to the spotlight as he took home more hardware at the ESPYS.

The 2013 ESPYS took place Wednesday night in a star-filled Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Texas A&M was nominated for an ESPY along with its quarterback, Johnny Manziel, being nominated for two.

It was a busy day for Coach Kevin Sumlin and Johnny Manziel as they participated in SEC Media Days Wednesday morning and took a chartered flight from Birmingham, Alabama to Los Angeles immediately after.

Manziel was nominated for Best Breakthrough Athlete and Best Male College Athlete, the latter of which he took home. San Francisco 49ers quarterback, Colin Kaepernick took home the award for Best Breakthrough Athlete.

Texas A&M would not win in their category for Best Upset. The Aggies faced tough competition in its nomination, being topped by Florida Gulf Coast's win over Georgetown. The Aggies were selected among four teams for their David versus Goliath victories. Texas A&M upset #1 Alabama in Tuscaloosa last season allowing Johnny Manziel to get his Heisman moment and a key win in the 2012 season.
