(The Huffington Post) - Remember that doll you had as a kid -- the one that developed a lazy eye (we're looking at you, Toy Story 3) and quickly went from cute to creepy? Or maybe you were the sibling that went around popping limbs off Barbies and American Girl Dolls.

Either way, it turns out these maimed toys needn't worry -- because Sydney's Famous Original Doll Hospital exists. And this year, it celebrates 100 years of fixing up dolls, teddy bears, rocking horses, umbrellas, prams, and more, Mother Nature Network reports.

In 1913, Harold Chapman Jr. opened the quirky doll business, and today Geoff Chapman, the third generation of Chapmans, proudly runs the business.

During World War II -- the hospital's "peak" years -- Chapman enjoyed a staff of almost 70 people, according to its website. In 100 years of business, the hospital claims to have made 2.5 million repairs.

If you're wondering what exactly a doll hospital looks like, check out the photos. Warning: Broken doll pictures are slightly traumatizing.
