Music Today's Classic Album Tuesday

This week, the long awaited Aerosmith album drops! This album is called ‘Music From Another Dimesnsion.’ The only song that has been released so far has been, ‘Legendary Child,’ which doesn’t stray at all from their previous albums and hit singles. I think you can expect this album to be nothing less than classic Aerosmith tunes. If you want a more pop-rock modern album from these guys dream on. (Get it?)

There are only two other remotely-notable artist who are coming out with new albums this week. The first is Ne-Yo who’s album’s name is R.E.D just like Taylor Swift’s album, but capitalized. I don’t know much about Ne-Yo, but I noticed one of the songs on the album is a duet with Tim McGraw. He might be pulling a Nelly on us, so be prepared world, this song could be forever grained into our minds.

Last but not least, Kylie Minogue’s new album, ‘The Abbey Road Sessions,’ drops this week. It was recorded at Abbey Road Studios, the studio that the Beatles made famous (or did the studio make them famous?) The album is promotion for her K25 anniversary, which is a celebration of her twenty-fifth year in the music industry. The album was recorded with Minogue’s band and a full orchestra. It is a very classy, piano bar-sounding album, but the 44 year old can’t shake her 16 year old girl’s voice which makes it sound more like a Glee album titled ‘ Songs from Grandma’s Basement.’

Until Next Tuesday,
