The past has been reincarnated through virtual art. This past Friday, the J. Wayne Stark Galleries in the Texas A&M's Memorial Student Center had their grand opening of the 'Memory Cloud' created by Andrew Vrana, a former student, class of 1993.
The 'Memory Cloud' is comprised with carbon pipping, a vast number of LED lights and various opaque disks. It combines the past and present by displaying silhouettes of any patron walking through the Student Memorial Center as well as displaying past footage of traditions, such as the Fightin' Texas Aggie marching band.
Recording traditions has never been so personal by capturing the every day student population of the university. Go and witness the marvel of this virtual art, you might just go down in history.
