It’s been two-and-a-half long years since the Randy Rogers Band released their last album, Burning the Day, and it is still on of my favorites. They hold the top spot on my list of favorite Texas acts, and as a die-hard fan it’s been almost torture waiting for new music from them.

But this Tuesday, the wait is finally over with the release of their newest album Trouble, and Aggieland gets to see all the excitement first-hand. It’s always a party when Randy comes to town. Without a doubt Harry’s sees its biggest turnout, and this time it's sure to stay true to form with it not only being the album release party, but the Dead Day Bash for all of the Aggies winding down from a hectic semester.

Three singles from their newest project have already hit the radio, proving that this album has been worth the wait. Their sound still captures the rugged sound of Randy’s voice, and the characteristic fiddle riffs provided by Brady Black, my personal favorite, that have become an RRB identifier.

Tickets are on sale for the show at Harry’s at Cavendar’s, Aggieland Outfitters and bcsclubs.com, and usually run around $15 presale. If you go to any show that comes to town, I recommend its this one. But if you can’t make it, I’ll be there getting all the pictures and video I can, and report back next week!
