A new trailer for the forthcoming James Bond film Skyfall has been released.
The twenty-third James Bond film, directed by Sam Mendes, is the third to feature Daniel Craig as 007, after Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace.
This is the second trailer to be released for Skyfall, which will also star Javier Bardem as the main villain, Ralph Fiennes as a government agent, and Ben Whishaw as Q.
Skyfall's 'Bond girls' include British actress Naomie Harris (28 Days Later), and French actress Bérénice Marlohe, who is best known for TV roles in her native country.
Judi Dench will reprise her role as Bond's boss and the head of MI6, M.
The previous trailer, released in May, featured clips of several enticing action scenes, including one where Daniel Craig, as Bond, hurtles down the side of a building, and another in which a London tube train careers through a brick wall.
The synopsis for Skyfall, released by Sony Pictures Entertainment, reads:
"Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost."
