Well, here we are again. Welcome back to your favorite CW8 Aggieland YouTube-based blog! It’s a new year, so you know what that means: time to make ridiculous, highly unsustainable goals for oneself – because, heck, if we could always sustain all of our New Year’s resolutions, we would eventually run out of stuff to resolute about, right? As for myself however, I have decided on a goal that I should be able to sustain past January 2013: my New Year’s resolution is to continue to crank-out these moderately-entertaining YouTube blogs, and to sustain my distinguished presence in internet obscurity. That all being said, let’s get this over with!
If you were in some sort of hypothetical television embargo this bowl season, you honestly didn’t miss a whole lot; sure, there were a fair share of games that came down to the wire (Arizona/Nevada, Clemson/LSU, South Carolina/Michigan), and there were some historically bad football programs – the ones that produce way more mathletes than athletes – that had pretty impressive showings over the holidays (Vanderbilt, Northwestern, Duke, Rice), but the majority of these games were absolute blowouts. And I’m not talking “beat you by twenty points” kinda blowouts, I’m talking more like “change the TV channel to PBS because another one of those Ken Burns documentaries is on – and just about anything will be more exciting than this football game” kinda blowouts. Oh well, at least this means we’re just one more year closer to the playoff system in 2014! So, as I was saying earlier, in case you missed all the bowl games this winter, here’s the only clip you really need to see:
My head just hurts watching that hit. That’s exactly why I’ve never played football… Yep, that’s the single limiting factor keeping me off the field… Coulda gone pro, I tell ya!
Speaking of deceptively athletic white dudes, I guess this wouldn’t be a real CW8 Aggieland blog without the mandatory “Johnny Football” reference. And, since I’m even a little exhausted of talking about him, I’m gonna just let someone’s mom do the honors for me:
Ahh, John Football; you can outrun the Sooners, and you can dodge the Tide, but you just can’t get away from those cougars – they have so much more in-game experience!
Alright everybody, I’ve got a little confession to make, so brace yourselves: I’ve never watched Breaking Bad. I know, I know, I know; I’m “missing out, man.” I’ll get around to it eventually – but, after seeing this next clip, I’m not so sure how “urgent” this issue may be:
Boy, it sure is refreshing to get to go ou---- WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU GUYS DOING?!?!?
I’m gonna be honest, it took me a while to realize that he did that on purpose… and, if I’m gonna be honester, I was a little disappointed to come to that realization, too. We get it, dude; you do cool adventury stuff with your free time. Stop showing off, you’re making the rest of us look bad!
Speaking of dumb, protein shake-fuelled, activities, here’s another one of those cute animal videos:
Alright gang, that’s going to just about do it for the first Viral Video installment of 2013; I hope it was as good for you as it was for me. Until next week gang!
