Thirsty Thursday, Mojito Madness style! This week is a part one of two featuring classic mojito recipes with a twist. Let’s get started with Mojito Ice Cubes to make a delicious alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink!
Mojito Ice Cubes
1 ½ cups lime juice (can use lemon, orange, whatever you like)
¼ cup sugar
1 cup water
1 package mint leaves
Optional: lime or lemon wedges
Combine the 1 ½ cups lime juice and sugar in a bowl until dissolved before adding 1 cup of water. Blend well and pour mixture into an ice cube tray. In each ice cube section, add one mint leaf and if you’d like, one lime wedge. Top with additional water if needed to fill to the top. Freeze for a few hours until solid and use at your desire!
These cubes can be used for any occasion whether it’s a baby or wedding shower or a night of celebrating. Throw a few cubes in a glass of water, lemonade, vodka, rum… really anything you choose!
Stay tuned for next week as Mojito Madness continues!
