Today marks the final countdown till elections! This time every year is always exciting because of the eagerness from the candidates and the uncertainty of who’s going to win. Of course, the Yell Leaders and the Student Body President positions are the most anticipating and most campaigned. They have their campaign team working diligently on every aspect to make sure it’s perfect.
This week, everyone who’s running for office and their loyal campaigners are busy trying to get your vote. This includes holding banners, creating Facebook groups, videos, and so much more. It can get a little overwhelming so I put the 5 For Yell campaign and the two students running for Student Body President campaign below. Every candidate is great in their own so make sure you go into voting with an open mind and pick who you think is the best fit for this amazing university!
The 5 For Yell campaign is five boys who are chosen from the Corp specifically and their video (one of the best), website, and Facebook page are here:
Reid Joseph and Garrett Nerren are the candidates for Student Body President. I won’t be biased here but they are both great students and Aggies. Check out there campaign below:
There are numerous other positions that are voted on. The different colleges have positions and there are off and on campus senators. The above links are just a little information from a large amount! I have also attached where you can find the list of all the students running. This is NOT the final list.
Voting is this Thursday, Feb.21! So be prepared when you decide to go vote at vote.tamu.edu! Thanks and Gig ‘Em!
