The anticipation for the upcoming football season is overwhelming. The most common asked question to any Aggie nowadays is asking about all the future football battles.
After speaking to a 12th man Productions student worker, Rebecca Robie, she said “to prepare for the season we have hired more workers and focused more on pre-season training because we want to help pump up the students in this transition” all due to the fact of A&M joining the SEC.
Not only is campus constantly buzzing with SEC football gossip, but everyone off-campus is preparing for the big season. This means extravagant tailgating. No Aggie football game is complete without the enormous smokers and red-ass fans.
Adam Thompson, a junior Business major at Texas A&M, has invested a small fortune in his love for tailgating. Recently he has been saving up for a custom made trailer with a smoker and his dream came to life last week. All this preparation is so he can show his Aggie spirit and indulge in the unforgettable A&M SEC tailgating experience.
As Aggies, we are unsure as to what the next football season brings, but there is one thing we can say. The A&M spirit is not created through football victories but the love for our Fightin’ Texas Aggies.
