Posted: 9:22 AM On April 21 of every year, Aggies all over the world gather to talk about old times at Texas A&M and honor those who have gone before us. It all started in 1883 when a few former students got together to reminisce and soon after, it became a tradition.
Posted: 9:16 AM Jackie Sherrill is known for many things at Texas A&M University. The two things that make him unique to me is that he created the “12th Man Kickoff Team” and he had the most wins against T.U. (whoop!)
Updated: 10:47 AM I am not the most political or opinionated person, but when Aggies start disowning other Aggies, I get a little intolerant. I’ve talked about how we’re all one big happy family before and I would like to think that still holds true.
Posted: 9:11 AM This past Saturday, over 19,000 Aggies joined together to give back to the Bryan-College Station community. This is the one day that students can show their appreciation to the public through acts of service as an Aggie family.
Posted: 8:48 AM Texas A&M University is unique in many ways. Some people don’t necessarily understand why we have “male cheerleaders” or a dog as a mascot, but as Aggies, we understand it completely and that’s what makes us unique.
Updated: 9:25 AM It’s finally here – Spring Break 2013. These are the five days that college students across the nation countdown to all semester long.
Updated: 9:33 AM Renovating Kyle Field has been a rumor for quite some time, but it never became a reality until we joined the SEC. With a new coach and new conference, who wouldn’t want a new $400 million plus football field? I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to be apart of this life-changing decision.
Updated: 10:13 AM Today marks the final countdown till elections! This time every year is always exciting because of the eagerness from the candidates and the uncertainty of who’s going to win
Posted: 7:19 AM You might not think much of a tree or why some would want to plant them but at A&M, someone has found a way to show their sense of giving back through trees.
Posted: 6:16 AM Have you ever thought, “wow, I have a great idea but I have no idea how to make it happen?” Well, some giving Aggies are here to help you!
Posted: 10:36 AM Today marks the first day of a new semester! That means students across campus are pulling out their TAMU maps looking for classes, picking the best seats in class, and praying their professors are nice.
Updated: 10:18 AM Considering that tomorrow is Christmas, I thought that I would spread some holiday cheer with my version of the holiday hit, “The Twelve Days of Christmas”. Enjoy and happy holidays!!
Updated: 10:26 AM The Texas A&M Memorial Student Center is the essence of Aggie Spirit. It represents the fallen Aggies and is a living tradition on campus. The MSC is home to student organizations, a variety of different food, art displays, a bookstore and much more.
Updated: 9:02 AM Three months ago, I had the opportunity to visit the Heisman Trophy at the local Douglass Nissan dealership. f you had told me that Johnny Manziel would soon be the owner of that trophy, I would have laughed.
Updated: 9:26 AM As the holidays get closer and closer, I am frantically looking for the best deals and ideas for gifts. Since I am an Aggie, every gift I give will be A&M related whether they like it or not.
Posted: 7:21 AM Obama or Romney? Democrat or Republican? It’s crazy to think that in less than 48 hours, we will know who’s going to be our continuing or next president.
