Happy New Year!

As you’re starting out this New Year, you don’t want to start it with acne. I have some tricks up my sleeve on how to deal with that pesky pimple problem.

First off, to prevent pimples from forming, use a salicylic acid cleansing regimen. Start with facewash, then toner, followed by moisturizer and gel. Salicylic acid will be your face’s new best friend!

I love using facial masks! Clay masks are deep cleaning and they feel amazing! Make sure you use a mask made of kaolin clay to make sure you’re fighting those pimples while relaxing!

Pore strips should also be a part of your weekly routine. The strips are great for making sure your pores stay clean and aren’t able to form acne.

If you have a pimple (blackhead or whitehead) that is really pestering you, I suggest trying a pimple extractor. You can find this tool at any drug store. If you use it, make sure you are constantly cleaning it! If you end up extracting the pimple, make sure you use antibiotic ointment.
Next week, I’ll tell you some of the best ways to cover up a pimple if needed!
