It’s officially April! That means you need to get out your pastels! Spring is one of my favorite seasons because of the soft colors and all of the wildflowers!

This season, we’re seeing lots of mint and peach colors in wardrobes. How do you get your makeup to match that fresh, spring-like look? I have a couple steps that will help you spring your makeup forward.

First, apply your foundation/powder as usual. Simple enough, right?

Next, get a pretty (and light) pink or peach blush and apply it to your cheeks.

For eyeshadow, I like playing with soft blues, greens, purples, pinks and peach colors. I like to mix and match the colors. I have a lot of green/yellow pigments in my eye, so I like to play that up with mint and green eyeshadow.

Find a pretty eyeliner! I like using a color between emerald and forest green to play up the colors. You can also use a purple or blue and get a really pretty look. Then, add your mascara to make your eyes pop!

For lips, I like matching my blush. If you use a peach blush, use a peach colored lip color and if you use a pink blush, use a pink lip color. Make sure you add a gloss to your lips to really freshen it up!
