While I was home this past weekend hanging out my favorite and effortlessly fashionable bro, I thought It’s been awhile since I’ve done a fashion post for guys. So, lucky for y'all, I convinced my “hipster” brother to model his favorite looks... in my parent's kitchen.
Anyway, here’s hipster fashion for him!
First off all to accomplish the hipster look, you’ll need multiple button ups. Any pattern you find at the local thrift store will do, but there is a catch. You can’t button the button up, layer it. Here Stratton models one of his many button ups on a comfortable t.
If you get too hot, tie it around your waist 90’s style!
If for some reason, you do decide you need to dress up, layering is still key! Here Stratton is modeling a sweater vest over a button up, with a tie.
Proof your fashion inspiration can come from anywhere, this vest is a part of Stratton's school uniform he wore in Japan!
To create a more put together look, add a blazer! A blazer is something you can splurge on, because it's a classic piece you will have forever. This particular one came from Urban Outfitters, it was picked out by yours truly! (Yes, I mean me)
Obviously going pants-less isn't socially acceptable, so with these looks you can put on jeans, khakis, or whatever your little hipster heart desires! To change it up and show off your shoes, cuff your pants.
Speaking of shoes, tennis or suede shoes will top off your look!
Okay, now that you’ve got the clothes, you're halfway there! All you need to do is grow out your hair, pick up a 6-pack of PBRs, and get acquainted with the latest dubstep!
Also, I think we should all give Stratton some props for his awesome modeling skills y'all. Just saying, he's close to a professional.
