Discovering Coffee Shops

Hello everyone! After a crazy spring break, it is always hard to pull myself back into the study mode, and recover from the lack of sleep. If you find yourself panicking about forgotten assignments or needing a late night coffee break to help you catch up on everything you have put off for a week; check out these local coffee shops, and get yourself back in school mode.

Mugwalls Java Bar on Harvey Mitchell Parkway. This unique coffee shop is great for studying; it has lots of chairs and tables, and some delicious coffee and baked goods. Use one of the hundreds of real mugs hung on the walls, or bring your own. If you get a chance, search for the infamous ‘cow mug’ and use that one!

Daylight Donuts, located on George Bush Drive East, is a great place to stop if you are wanting to grab a quick cup of coffee and head back to your study cave!

Last but not least, I love going to Muldoon’s Coffee Shop, right by Spoons Frozen Yogurt on Texas Avenue. The atmosphere is relaxing and there are plenty of outlets, couches, and tables to go around. They have some great flavored teas and amazing Frappuccinos to fuel your study session.
