Let’s be real, fit is the new obsession. Lately counting calories on an app, preparing meals and hitting the gym are the “it” things to do. In my opinion what seems to be a fitness trend should be a lifestyle but either way, we still have to indulge here and there right?! This Thirsty Thursday features cocktails weighing in at less than 200 calories!

Bloody Mary with Shrimp
22 oz reduced sodium V8
1 tsp horseradish
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp lemon juice
Pepper to taste
3 oz vodka (optional)
4 cooked shrimp

Shake all ingredients together except the shrimp until mixed well. Garnish with the shrimp and you’re ready to get your Bloody Mary on! Only 78 calories per serving so almost guilt free! This recipe makes two servings.

Strawberry-Coconut Daiquiri
2 ½ cups chopped fresh or frozen strawberries
3 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp lime juice
3 cups ice
¾ cup coconut flavored rum

Combine the strawberries, sugar and lime juice together and blend well. Next add your ice and rum, blend and enjoy! This recipe makes six servings and is only 112 calories per drink y’all!

Island Lemonade
3 cups boiling water
1/3 – ½ sugar
1 ¼ cups lime juice
6 oz dark rum (optional)

Combine boiling water and sugar until dissolved and chill mixture. Add lime juice to the chilled mixture and pour in each glass before adding the rum. At 182 calories per drink, you can still enjoy a getaway styled cocktail without hundreds of calories! This recipe makes four servings.
