Hundreds of Aggie students are camping outside the Zone ticket windows at Kyle Field tonight for their chance to buy bowl tickets.

"When you come out here, you start seeing people just wanting to be a part of the 12th man. It's just really exciting to see how everyone molds together,” said Nick Alo.

Studying is top on the list for many students as they wait for their tickets.

"I am a graduate student. I have three finals and a paper due, so I will be spending the entirety of this studying and writing my paper,” said Kate Hills, a Texas A&M University graduate student.

It's finals week, a fact that isn't stopping Aggies from getting their chance to see Texas A&M play Oklahoma on January 4th in the AT&T Cotton Bowl.

“There's just a lot of excitement. Everyone is really into Aggie football,” said Jeff Schmahl is the Senior Associate Athletic Director with Texas A&M University. "This is run by the students. This whole pull system and the lists and everything like that. They are so orderly and so polite."

Students will be staking out the grounds until 7 a.m. Thursday when they find out if they can get a ticket to the big game.

A&M says there are 1,250 student tickets available for $140 4,000 standing only tickets for $50.

If Oklahoma has tickets that they can't sell, A&M says it will take those to accommodate Aggie students who want to go.
