Everyone has their grocery store of preference. My family has always favored HEB. Its friendly service, organized isles, and delicious recipes have kept us coming back for more.

My younger sister and I have kept the family tradition going by shopping at HEB throughout our college years. Our biggest problem is that we always go grocery shopping when we’re hungry. Our growling stomachs make us want to put almost everything into our grocery carts. The one thing that saves us from spending all of our money is HEB’s free samples and their crafty, clever recipes!

There happens to be one particular recipe that we enjoy the most. This cowboy outlaw recipe is the most wanted in town and in our stomachs – Texas Caviar.


1 jar of HEB Relish that Corn
1 can of HEB Black Beans
1 container of HEB Pico de Gallo
¾ container of Crumbled Feta Cheese
1 bag of Tostitos Scoops


1. Place Relish that Corn, Black Beans, Pico de Gallo, and Crumbled Feta Cheese into the same bowl.

2. Stir the ingredients together.

3. Scoop Texas Caviar onto your Tostitos Scoops and eat your heart out!
