College Station An inadvertent call to 9-1-1 leads College Station Police to arrest two teens on drug charges.
18-year-old David Marshal Norris is being charged with two counts of Manufacturing and Delivery of a Controlled Substance in a Drug Free Zone and Possession of Marijuana in a Drug Free Zone. 19-year-old Kyle Bading is being charged with Possession of Marijuana.
Just before 4:00 p.m. Sunday, police were called the 200 block of Navarro Drive for an emergency.
Once there, police found no emergency.
Instead, one of the resident's cell phone had pocket dialed 911 while smoking marijuana. According to CSPD, Norris' cellphone pocket dialed dispatchers who heard them talk about smoking pot.
Officials say they detected a strong smell of burnt marijuana within the residence.
After getting a search warrant, police found 29 grams of cocaine, 5.3 grams of Hasish Oil, 2.7 ounces of marijuana and over $4,131 in cash.
Bading bonded out of the College Station jail. Norris was booked into the Brazos County Jail under $110,000 bond.
Police say the location is a drug free zone because it's located within 1000 feet of a playground.
