A close call for a couple of kids coaxed into a potentially dangerous situation by a stranger.
College Station police say the children were near Anderson Street when they were approached by an adult male around 5 p.m. Thursday. He talked the kids into letting him take pictures of them, but one child grew suspicious and tried to leave. That's when the suspect stopped her by grabbing her shirt. After taking more pictures, the stranger left.
Police are looking for a white male with a tan complexion, around 6-feet tall and about 200 pounds. He was driving a gold-colored sedan, similar to a Ford Crown Victoria, with silver wheels.
